Figgy

Figgy has come so far in her time at Pet Pride. When a visitor opens the door to her room now, she peeks her head out to signal that she’s open to receiving affection. She confers briefly with her surrounding Cat Council, on which she heavily depends for comfort and confidence. But after sizing up her visitor’s intentions, she usually decides to take a chance.

She wants to become bolder, it is clear. Here’s how you can help when you meet her: speak softly, move slowly, offer a few treats, and tell her that you will follow her lead. This sweet girl, we believe, needs only a modest amount of reassurance to convince her that she has found her forever family. The perfect home likely will include another cat for Figgy to learn from and hang out with.

To meet Figgy, please complete the application on our website at https://www.petprideny.org/adopt/adopt-adoption-form.
