Figaro's Story
Meet Figaro!

Figaro came back into our care when his guardians were moving and could not take him along. This handsome, independent boy is ready for a fresh start; one with plenty of space, a sunny spot to stretch out in, and maybe even access to the great outdoors.

Shelter life is hard on a cat like Figaro. He's nervous in this environment, and it doesn't reflect who he truly is. His history tells a much better story: a cat who, given time and consistency, becomes a calm and devoted companion who will find his way over to you and settle in next to you like he's always been there. He just needs the right home to let that version of himself come back out. Figaro knows what he like: warmth, a good nap, and a gentle petting session on his own terms. He takes time to warm up to new people and new situations, but he's proven that once he feels safe and settled, he comes around. A calm, patient household will go a long way for him.

He's spent most of his life indoors but has made it clear he's curious about the world beyond the door. We think he'd thrive with access to a safe outdoor space, whether that be a porch, a catio, or a yard he can explore at his own pace. Medically, Figaro is managed on a prescription diet for a history of urinary crystals, well controlled since the switch, so his adopter will need to keep him on his routine for his health and happiness. If you have the space, the patience, and the right setup, Figaro might just be your purrfect match.

Dogs: Figaro has no experience with dogs.
Cats: Figaro has no experience with other cats.
Children: Due to his sensitive nature, Figaro may thrive in a home with teenagers and adults.

Visit our Adoption Center to meet your potential new best friend!
