He's nervous in this environment, and it doesn't reflect who he truly is. His history tells a much better story: a cat who, given time and consistency, becomes a calm and devoted companion who will find his way over to you and settle in next to you like he's always been there. He just needs the right home to let that version of himself come back out. Figaro knows what he like: warmth, a good nap, and a gentle petting session on his own terms.
