She has met dozens of feline friends during her time in rescue and has never had an issue. In fact, we think her favorite thing in the world might just be having cat companions around.<br/><br/>Figara can be a little shy when it comes to people, but her curiosity always wins out. She loves to see what her humans are up to and will happily come over for a sniff or to enjoy Churu treats right from your fingers. She's not a fan of being petted just yet, but she's making progress and thrives with people who let her set the pace.<br/><br/>When the wand toys come out, Figara's playful side takes center stage. This girl has endless energy and can chase a wand toy for as long as you're willing to wave it. Playtime is one of her favorite ways to build confidence and connect with her people.<br/><br/>Figara's dream home includes other friendly cats, lots of interactive play, and a family willing to give her the time and patience she needs to continue blossoming. She would do well with respectful, cat-savvy children ages 12+ who understand her boundaries. Due to limited volunteer power, applications submitted for cats or kittens no longer available will not be reviewed. <br/><br/>About Ten Lives:<br/><br/>Ten Lives Cat Rescue is a 501(c)(3), nonprofit organization located in Rhode Island. Our foster-based program is 100% volunteer-powered. We do not have a facility or shelter with regular visiting hours. Out of respect for the time, privacy, and safety of our foster families, we require an approved adoption application before scheduling a meet and greet with a foster cat. <br/><br/>Our goal is to place cats in their best-matched homes and facilitate lifelong adoptions. We do not review applications on a first-come, first-serve basis. We believe that veterinary care is an important part of cat guardianship. As such, a veterinary check is part of our adoption process. Our goal is to contact applicants within 96 business hours of receiving their application. During kitten season, wait times may be longer due to the influx of applications. We are all volunteers and kindly ask for your patience! <br/><br/>All Ten Lives cats are spayed or neutered, receive age-appropriate vaccinations, tested for FIV/FeLv and parasites, dewormed, treated for fleas, and microchipped. These services are inclusive of the adoption fee.
