Fields is a very handsome, talkative, gentle and sweet, golden-eyed, one-year-<br/>old, male silver tabby cat looking for a loving guardian.<br/>This loving dude was rescued from underneath a heavy metal grate at the <br/>Marshall Fields’ housing development in Chicago’s Old Town neighborhood and <br/>brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control. <br/>Concerned feline-lovers who heard of his plight asked Friends of Petraits Rescue <br/>to take him in. <br/>This boy is a love sponge, a volunteer favorite. He rolls over on his back for belly <br/>rubs and purrs and purrs (and drools with joy). He is the quintessential lap cat. <br/>He will work the room jumping from lap to lap, gazing lovingly into your eyes.<br/>Fields had been stuck under the grate for days meowing for rescue. Luckily, <br/>besides being skinny (only six pounds), he is otherwise very healthy, now <br/>neutered, vaccinated for rabies and distemper, microchipped and virus-tested <br/>negative.
