Hi there! My name is Fern, and I’m a gorgeous tortoiseshell girl with a very sweet heart. You might notice that I sometimes look like I’m giving you the tortie stink eye—but I promise, that’s just my stunning tortoiseshell markings giving me my naturally sassy expression! <br/><br/>I can be a little shy when I first meet you, but give me a little time and a gentle, loving human, and I’ll warm up pretty quickly. Once I feel comfortable, I really love being close to my person. I’m happiest curled up beside you or sitting on your lap while I soak up all the love and attention. <br/><br/>I’m used to living with lots of kitty foster siblings, so having other cats around doesn’t bother me. I don’t mind dogs, either! And while I’m definitely a fan of cozy cuddle time, I have a playful side, too. Wand toys and springs are some of my favorite ways to have fun!<br/><br/>What I’d really love now is a home of my very own—a family who will be patient with me as I settle in, love me for the sweet girl I am, and give me a safe and cozy place to call home.<br/><br/>I’ve been waiting for my new beginning.
