Fern's Story

Fern is a sweet, albeit timid, gal! Don't let her scruffy appearance fool you-she is a total sweetheart. She truly wants to be your best friend, and just like any good friendship, it simply takes a little time to get to know her.<br/>While Fern hasn't shown much interest in typical toys, she absolutely cannot resist catnip! Much like her love for catnip, Fern cannot get enough pets and scratches. She may not be a typical "lap cat" just yet, but she would happily lie down and be petted for hours... if her humans had the time. One of her absolute favorite discoveries is the window; she loves to spend her afternoons watching the squirrels and birds outside. Her dream forever home would definitely include a sunny window where she can keep up with her "neighborhood watch" duties! Even though Fern is a little shy, she is also incredibly brave. She has explored her foster home with determination, curious to learn every inch of her surroundings. She has also gotten along fabulously with the resident cat, so she would likely love a forever home with another feline friend to show her the ropes.
