Fenella

If gentleness and sugar could be combined into a kitty, it would be Fenella! She arrived at our shelter terrified and always trying to make herself small. She continuously hid from view under her blanket as if to say "They can't hurt me if they can't see me." With some time, love, and a whole lot of treats, Fenella blossomed into the girl we know now! Her days of hiding from our touch are far behind her, and Fenella literally LEANS into affection. If you stop petting her, she will reach out and gently put her paw on your hand. We always give into her, because after spending so much time fearing people, Fenella deserves all the scratches she missed out on for so long. Fenella has tested very well with other cats and initially came to our shelter with her son. We think she would do wonderfully as an addition to an existing cat family, or as a single kitty!
