Felix's Story

PLEASE NOTE: You must complete an ADOPTION APPLICATION in order to receive a response. https://www.homeatlastrescue.ca/adoption-form/, or click on the "MORE ABOUT HOME AT LAST RESCUE" button in the bottom right for a direct link.

Looking for a sweet, easygoing cat who appreciates the quiet things in life? Meet Felix! Felix is a sweet, reserved one-year-old girl who is happiest when life is quiet, comfortable, and relaxed. She’s the kind of cat who appreciates a slow-paced home where she can relax, soak up some sunshine, and take plenty of naps. Felix enjoys playing with her toys, but she’s not looking for a busy household or constant entertainment. She can be a little shy at first, but with time and patience, she’ll warm up to you. While she isn’t necessarily a lap cat, she does enjoy being close in her own way. One of her favourite things is sleeping with her people, and she loves curling up somewhere sunny for a good nap. Felix seems to do fine with other cats, although it’s a little difficult to tell exactly how she feels since the resident cat isn’t particularly welcoming. She is also neutral about dogs. She’s perfectly okay with the dog in her foster home, but she has no interest in playing with him. Felix is good with kids. She’ll do best with people who understand that trust takes a little time and are happy to let her settle in at her own pace and will be the perfect cat for a quiet home with someone home to keep her company.

Felix came to us as a stray with her four babies, whom she had been caring for outside. She was dirty, matted and had a nose injury. With a lot of TLC in her foster home, she is now a gorgeous girl ready to find her forever home at last!

If you’re looking for a sweet, beautiful cat to spoil and share a quiet life with, Felix may be just the girl you’ve been waiting for. She would be a wonderful match for someone looking for a beautiful, gentle girl to relax with and spoil.

As we often receive numerous applications for each cat or kitten, we will only contact applicants who best suit the needs of the cat or kitten. For example, if it is stipulated that the cat needs another cat buddy at home and you do not have one, you may not receive a response. Finding the best home for our cat or kitten is our top priority. Applications are not first-come, first-served.
