Fava's Story

Fava is a beautiful dilute tortoiseshell kitten with a personality as layered as her coat. She may take a moment to warm up — quick movements can catch her off guard — but once she's in your arms and getting a good scratch, this girl turns into a full-on purr machine. Patient hands are all it takes to unlock her softer side.

She is playful, curious, and quite the little conversationalist — she'll happily chirp and chat her way through the day. She takes most of her cues from her sister Farro, and the two make a wonderful bonded pair, navigating the world with that special sibling confidence.

Fava would thrive in a patient home where she’s given the time and space to settle in at her own pace.

Fava is bonded with her sister Farro, and they must be adopted together.

She is a shorthaired kitten about 2 months old as of May. She is up-to-date on vaccinations, dewormed, FIV/FELV negative, and microchipped.

She is looking for a forever home that is willing to foster to adopt until she is old enough to be fixed. Foster to adopt means, she will be living with you and you will be responsible for her (including financially) but the adoption will not be finalized until she is fixed. That usually happens around 6 months depending on what the vet says.

She is currently in the care of our rescue, but would like to be a permanent part of your family today! The adoption fee of $125 EACH will benefit other CPR rescue animals.

For additional pictures/videos on our website, please copy/paste this link in your browser:
https://www.chicagopetrescue.org/cats.html#Fava

Current Location: Foster Home
