Fatboy & Rudy<br/>We are Fatboy and Rudy—15-year-old, short-haired black littermates, lifelong friends, and a two-for-one package deal. Rudy has one white whisker, and I don’t. For thirteen years, we lived with our owner, who sadly could no longer keep us. When we arrived in November 2024, severe skin issues left us in rough shape: Rudy had nearly naked patches from mange, while my coat had grown back well. At first, adjusting to HSHC was tough, but we improved in the Roaming Room before taking a foster break in July 2025. Now, we're thriving with our foster dad. He recently shared that we got all A’s on our report card! <br/>Although Fatboy and Rudy are seniors, these loverboys are youthful at heart! They are both full of contagious spirit and will bring endless joy to their forever home. <br/>Fatboy is flamboyant, goofy, and vocal. Rudy is gentle, graceful, and charming. <br/>They both love being petted, cuddling with their human on the couch, sunbathing in their window beds, and playtime (wand toys, laser pointers, pom pom balls, catnip kick sticks). <br/>Fatboy’s favorite activity in the world is being brushed. He’ll circle you and plop himself on the floor for more. Rudy’s favorite is receiving booty scratches. He’ll raise it high in the air to let you know you hit the spot. They are both very friendly, outgoing, and excellent with human strangers. They both have perfect litter box etiquette and no behavioral issues. <br/>We’d say that’s a pretty impressive recommendation. We have made such great strides in our comfort level and social skills. Now, all we need is a loving human to adopt us and give us plenty of time and space to get comfortable in our new home. 5-13-26
