Farrow's Story

Farrow had come to the rescue in May 2025, with 3 other younger cats. He came from a home where he was loved, but due to circumstances beyond his control, was not given the medical care he required. When he came to the rescue, he had a bad tooth infection, and was constantly drooling. When we took him to the vet for dental work, it was determined he has Grade 4 Periodontal disease, halitosis and got 7 teeth extracted that day. He is healing up just fine from the dental work. Due to his age (approx. 8-10 years old) we requested bloodwork to be done prior to sedation, and it was determined Farrow is diabetic. We do not know how long he has been diabetic, but he has never been treated for it prior to coming to the rescue. Our plan is to get him started on his treatment plan, and get him feeling much better before adopting him out.
He is a sweet boy, who has a very stoic look. He would make a wonderful companion in a quiet relaxed home.
Watch for his update!!
