Falcon's Story
Falcon

Professional feather assassin. Amateur tough guy.

Falcon would like everyone to know that he is a fierce, fearless hunter.

Evidence includes:

One feather wand... thoroughly defeated.
Three toy mice... no longer among us.
Countless crinkle balls... scattered across the crime scene.

Mission accomplished.

Born outdoors with his siblings, Falcon still has a healthy respect for humans and prefers not to be scooped up for long. But unlike his fiery sisters, Falcon has discovered that there are simply too many fun things indoors to spend all day being suspicious.

Toy? He's on it.

Feather wand? He's already airborne.

Jingly ball? Consider it captured.

In fact, Falcon's greatest weakness isn't people...

It's toys.

If it wiggles, bounces, jingles, flutters, or vaguely resembles prey, Falcon forgets all about maintaining his rugged outdoor reputation. Even his growly sisters occasionally convince him to join their games, because life is just more fun when somebody's chasing something.

He's still learning that people can be trusted, but you can almost see the wheels turning. Every day he's a little braver. Every day he hangs around a little longer. Every day he realizes that the strange giant creatures keep bringing dinner, fresh blankets, and an unlimited supply of feather toys.

He's not a lap kitten.

Yet.

But if we were betting on which Bird eventually decides humans are pretty okay... Falcon would be high on the list.

Falcon is neutered, up to date on vaccinations, microchipped, and looking for a patient indoor home with someone who understands that the best friendships aren't always instant-they're built one feather wand at a time.

Warning: May pretend not to like you, then accidentally reveal his true feelings the moment you pull out a toy. Also responds to feather wands with the enthusiasm of a cat who's had six espressos.
