Hi! I am Everleigh, a domestic short haired kitty complete with a white, tabby & dilute calico coat. I have beautiful markings. I am a very quiet and reserved kitty. New surroundings and people scare me and I like to retreat into comfortable spaces, such as hidey holes. I am not mean or unkind by any means but the world does terrify me and I need space, time and distance to acclimate to new folks and new surroundings. For these reasons, I need a quiet and calm home where I can simply exist and be loved on on my terms. <br/><br/>I am spayed, and I am up to date on my vaccines - distemper and rabies. I have been FIV/Feline Leukemia tested and I am negative for both. I receive routine flea and tick preventatives, monthly as well as some well deserved pampering periodically: brushing, nail trims & ear cleaning.<br/><br/>My ideal home includes a quiet and calm home. I tolerate other kitties without issue. I like to be by my other kitty friends. I do not know how I would do with dogs. I would do best in a home without young kids. A home with lots of activity may scare me. I will certainly retreat to the closest hiding spot and camp out for a long time. <br/><br/>I need a family that is caring, compassionate and loving. I want a family that is patient, willing to give me what I need: a warm bed, plenty of good food & clean water, and affection on my terms. <br/><br/>My shelter family works tirelessly to ensure I and my friends go to the right family.
