Hi, my name is Eve. I was adopted from the shelter back in 2015, and for many happy years I had a home and a person I loved very much. Sadly, my mom recently passed away, and now I find myself back at the shelter. It has been a big adjustment for me, and I miss her every day, but I’m hoping there is another kind heart out there who can give me a soft place to land. I’m a sweet senior girl with a gentle heart. I can be a little shy when meeting new people, but if you give me time and patience, I will reward you with lots of love and affection. Once I feel safe, I absolutely adore snuggling with my favorite people. The staff and volunteers here say I make the best muffins when I’m happy, and sometimes I even give soft little kisses. At 13 years young, I’ve truly mastered the art of companionship. I’m happiest in a calm, quiet home where I can relax beside you, enjoy cozy naps, and simply be loved. I’ve never lived with other animals, and children make me nervous, so I would do best in a peaceful adult home where I can feel safe and secure.
