“Good messenger”. That’s what my name, Evan, means in Greek. You wouldn’t think hearing that you need surgery on a hip sounds like good news, would you? Especially to a good-looking, medium-haired young cat like me. I had just gotten here in mid-June after I was found out on my own in NW Rochester, and the vet said that my hip was dislocated. So, I had an operation. Guess what? Now I’m doing great! I’m active and playful, and I especially love wand toys. I also love chasing balls around the room. Even though my left hip and rear leg are still a bit stiff, I don’t let that slow me down. Besides playing, I like making myself “useful.” I “help” with cleaning tasks and enjoy being involved with what is going on in my room. You’re welcome. Please feel free to pet me and scratch my neck.
