Etta's Story

Buffalo, meet Etta. The best friend you didn’t know that you needed until right now. Etta is a dignified older gal, around 8-10 years old but she says age is just a number and a lot of cats age like a fine wine 🥂

She is different than most cats, but her core values remain the same:
Yell for snacks & pets
Be snuggle buddy during this tough winter.
Find all of the comfy spots

Etta is blind, but that has not stopped her from taking all of the changes in her life head on and with grace. She is able to navigate her foster home with ease and will always find the comfy beds, her food, your lap and the litter box.

She has done very well with other cats and dogs who are respectful of each other and most importantly their elders.

Additionally, Etta has FIV. The discourse surrounding FIV has changed significantly, and for the better! Cats with FIV can live long happy lives with other cats and staying on top of preventative veterinary care.

While her foster mom loves having Etta around, she is looking for her next big adventure. If you are interested in learning more about Etta, please email her foster mom at layneklvt@gmail.com.

Etta is the benefactor of a sponsorship from one of our regular supporters, of which we are always so grateful. A portion of her adoption fee is sponsored in an attempt to help older cats like her find their forever homes.
