MEET OUR SWEET SENIOR LADY ETHEL. BCAS was contacted by Ethel's owner's niece. She was desperately seeking a place to care for Ethel. Ethel's owner was transferred to assisted living and was unable to care for Ethel. Ethel arrived at BCAS on September 2, 2026. Most of Ethel's veterinary history is a mystery. Knowing Ethel lived in a quiet environment with her senior owner, we gave Ethel a few days to become accustomed to the barking dogs at the shelter. On September 8th, Ethel was examined by our veterinarian. She received Feline Distemper combination and Rabies vaccines. Ethel's FELV/FIV tested negative and her CBC/CHEM bloodwork was all normal. Ethel weighs 11 pounds and her birthday is 7/14/2017, making her 9 years old. She a very sweet outgoing girl who is true to her litterbox. The PURRFECT forever family for Ethel would be a quiet household, though she isn't fazed by the sound of the vacuum. We schedule Meet & Greets by appointment only.
