She came from a home where she wasn't able to be cared for any longer. She is a small, slender girl, weighing under 7 pounds. <br/><br/>She is a sweet and friendly girl. She is good with people likes to be pet. She has not been living with dogs but has always had multiple kitties in her home. She needs to go to a home with at least one other kitty that she can bond with. <br/><br/>As part of our adoption process, we will check the vetting history of any past or current pets looking for regular history of annual exams and up to date vaccines and other care as recommended by the doctors. We will also check property ownership or verify landlord guidelines for a rental and complete a public records check for anyone over age 18 in the home. <br/><br/>Resident cats must show a history of a negative FeLV (feline leukemia test) on file while maintaining an indoor only status. <br/><br/>Estrella is spayed, microchipped, up to date on core vaccinations, FeLV/FIV tested, and also has had fecal testing completed. An adopters routine and home environment is likely going to be different than that in their foster home.<br/><br/>Sometimes there is more that comes out about an animals personality once they have been able to settle in a home and truly become comfortable. There are great articles out there written about the different stages a pet goes through after adoption, discussing transitions that happen at 3 days, 3 weeks, and 3 months. We highly recommend reading about this - it will help you understand the transition your new pet goes through.
