Esmeralda's Story

Meet Esmeralda! This beautiful calico girl is sure to brighten up your day. Esmeralda wasn't so sure about people at first, but after warming up in her foster home she has blossomed into a loving and playful kitty. Esmeralda adores other cats, often rubbing up against them and looking to them for her own confidence. While she may be slow to warm up, she loves to be pet and will make biscuits for as long as she is getting attention. She will need time to adjust to her new environment, but once she does she will be the sweetest addition to your family!

Humane Educational Society of Chattanooga, TN's Adoption Policy

DOG ADOPTIONS: $50 including microchip, DAPPv & bordetella vaccines, heartworm test, spay/neuter, and rabies vaccine. Puppies 6 months and under $100. CAT ADOPTIONS: $50 including microchip, FVRCP vaccine, FIV/FeLV test, spay/neuter, and rabies vaccine Please note that puppies and kittens under 3 months of age do not receive a rabies vaccine. Puppies under 6 months of age are too young for a heartworm test and kittens under 4 months of age are too young for an FIV/FeLV test. Animals already spayed or neutered may leave with you upon approval of your adoption application. Animals NOT spayed or neutered will be scheduled for surgery at the time of adoption. The animal must be spayed or neutered before going home. All adoptions also include 30 days of opt-in Pet Insurance. Our shelter is open to the public. Open 12pm-5pm Monday-Saturday. Closed Sunday.
