Meet Ernie! He's a shy, but very sweet and affectionate, 3-4 year old Domestic Short Hair that was brought to SCAC after being found as a stray. Although initially shy, Ernie is very sweet and affectionate and loves attention. He spends most of his days climbing the shelves and cat tree and soaking up attention from his favorite visitors. Second Chance Animal Center's Adoption Policy

Second Chance has an online adoption application process for cats, dogs, and small critters. Veterinarian and landlord contact information is required on all applications. Once application is submitted, it may take several days for us to follow up with all appropriate contact information. We will initially respond via email but feel free to call us directly with any follow-up questions. We always encourage potential adopters to submit an application in advance of your visit to our shelter. Same-day feline adoptions are possible with pre-approved applications. Canine adoptions take several visits as dog-to-dog and family meet-and-greets are required.
