Meet Ernie! Ernie is an extremely sweet and cuddly boy. Though he is missing a front leg, he gets around on his own easily and can even jump up on the couch by himself - which is his favorite place to be! Ernie loves being around people and would do well with other cats or cat-friendly dogs that will respect his boundaries. In addition to hanging out on the couch, he enjoys Churus, wet food, and lots of pets. Ernie’s clearly had a rough patch in life, but he is so resilient and has a ton of love to give to his future family!<br/><br/>Ernie is estimated to be 7 years old.

Tubby Tabby Rescue's Adoption Policy
All potential adopters are required to fill out an adoption application and be screened prior to adopting a cat from Tubby Tabby. The rescue has the right to refuse adoption any time during the process if warranted. We are a foster-based animal rescue, which means we do not operate out of a traditional shelter or kennel facility. Instead, all of our cats live in private homes with loving foster families until they are adopted. This approach allows our animals to receive personalized care in a home environment, helping them adjust better and show their true personalities. Because we are not a physical shelter, we do not have a central location where all of our animals can be visited. Each foster home has its own schedule and responsibilities, and visits must be arranged in advance to respect their time and home space.
