Engee's Story

Hi I’m mommy Engee. But I’m a mommy no more! I was found as a stray with my babies the end of June 2025 and the vet said I could be anywhere between 1-5 years old so we went with the middle and made my estimated birthday 6/30/22.

I am in a foster home by Fischer’s park in Towamencin and have been spayed, vaccinated, wormed, and use the litter box all the time. I eat twice a day-canned food in am which is a rotation of Nulo, Verus, wellness, and friskies and kibble given in pm is currently a mixture with Diamond as the majority.

I am a very sweet but also very shy lady and hid a lot in the beginning despite really liking being pet and getting attention. When my foster mom pets me I do what she calls rollie pollies, make biscuits, and purr. I also think it’s awesome now to jump up and just sit on my foster mom’s lap after scritches but please do not pick me up and put me on your lap (yet!). I like to lay on the humans lap on my terms for now. I don’t mind boy cats but prefer not to interact with the girl cats and I will get upset with them if they try to steal the attention I’m getting from my foster mom. I otherwise ignore girl cats. There also are 2 medium sized mild mannered dogs in my foster home that I like so if you have medium or small gentle dogs that’d be cool with me!

I do have chronic ear wax and need my ears cleaned ant least every week or they get really yucky.

I might hide in my forever home for a bit in the beginning like I did in my foster home so I’ll need a patient human that can get down on my level if I’m hiding to give me pets and scritches to help me feel comfortable. I hide when people initially come visit so I might need you to just hang out for a bit until I feel comfortable enough to come out of hiding to meet you.

If you think I might be the kitty for you apply today!

You can also check meowt (and my foster siblings!) on you tube @fostermamanursedoolittle

Stray Cat Blues Inc.'s Adoption Policy
Many of our adoptable cats can be seen at our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales adoption cage locations. Other cats still in foster homes can be seen through special arrangements with the foster caretakers. We are happy to respond to requests for information via phone or e-mail and will provide as much information as we can about the personalities and backgrounds of cats in which a potential adopter has interest. Please submit an adoption application by copying this URL: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/login/application/646b573c96c9f3c731071919 Also, please note that our primary adoption efforts are focused in Montgomery and Bucks counties (Pennsylvania); but we will occasionally, and on a case-by-case basis, make placements in Chester, Delaware and Philadelphia counties and surrounding areas. Interested parties are required to complete a brief adoption application. This application serves us twofold. First, it allows us to assess the sincerity of the applicant through the fact that they took the time to complete the inquiry. Second, the application provides us with a veterinary referral and other pertinent background information. Our Adoption Fees (effective 2/1/2022) - $150 for a cat up to 1 year old ($300 for a pair of kittens) $100 for a cat who is between 1 and 7 years old $70 for a cat who is 7+ years old (All fees are subject to Pennsylvania's 6% sales tax and a minimum of $5 or 5% service fee.) The fee helps us to offset the costs of getting a cat ready for adoption. At our PetSmart Collegeville and PetSmart North Wales/Montgomeryville locations, the fees can be paid by cash, check, PayPal or credit card. All cats adopted from Stray Cat Blues have been spayed/neutered, are litterbox trained, have received age appropriate vaccinations, and have been tested and found negative for FeLV and FIV (unless specifically noted otherwise in their cat listings). All other necessary vet work has also been done. When you adopt from us, you receive a tracker form with details of all vet work and care. Please see our website if you are interested in adopting barn cats. There is a different application for this type of cat If you have additional questions, please email us at petfinderinquiries@straycatblues.org.
