Emmylou's Story
CHARACTERISTICS: playful, loyal, smart, polite, affectionate, patient, quiet
COAT LENGTH: Short
HOUSE-TRAINED: Yes
HEALTH: Getting spayed and vaccinated on 10/3
GOOD IN A HOME WITH: other cats

Meet Emmylou - the most polite little lady

Emmylou was rescued during a TNR project in my grandmother’s backyard in Linda Vista. She and her family were community cats being fed and looked after by my aunt. With my grandmother moving away, we knew we had to find Emmylou and her siblings a real home to call their own.

Emmylou was very shy at first. She was nervous about her move from the wild backyard and did not leave her sister Loretta’s side for the first week in her foster home. It didn’t take long for Emmylou to fall in love with her foster siblings, and from there she started to warm up to her foster human too. She is now thriving in her foster home, and happily accepting cuddles and kisses.

Emmylou is so sweet and polite. She barely makes a peep. She always waits patiently by her bowl for meals and never steals food from others. Although she will let the other cats steal her food, so we gotta watch out for that!

She is very playful - loves to climb and play chase with her litter mates and foster siblings. She has the most beautiful black tabby coat - more like a dark brown coat with black stripes and a little white patch on her belly.

Emmylou would thrive in a home with another cat or 2. Are you her perfect match?

If you think so - please send Monti an email explaining why and to set up a meet and greet!

EMAIL: monti.thaboua@gmail.com
