Emmy Lou's Story

It isn't often that we have this problem: Every single picture of Emmy Lou depicts her in her person's lap. Normally, we might go back to her owner and say, thats great, but could you please send a couple photos of Emmy Lou *not* in your lap, just so people get a sense of the cat herself rather than the cat-human duo we have going on here? But first, I think that would ultimately result in an inaccurate representation of this cat. I mean, these are all different moments in time (note the change of outfits and different backgrounds). This is what Emmy Lou does and who she is. Second, the photos clearly show a cat who is *loved*; a cat whose owner is torn up over losing her ... and this just shows you how great Emmy Lou is. And third, there just isn't time. Emmy Lou needs a new home, and she needs it soon.

According to her human, Emmy Lou is a talker, a lap buddy, and a bed cuddler. She is shy at first, but once she bonds with you, she is by your side, on your lap when watching tv, and sleeps right beside you.

This incredibly affectionate kitty has lived with and done fine with other cats, dogs, and kids. Her favorite toys are the fishing pole types as well as laser pointers.

This sweet girl is 11.5 years old. She will need to be spayed and updated on vaccines prior to adoption We'll make sure that happens, so don't you worry about that. If she needs a dental, well be sure that happens too. She uses the litter box like a champ, so no worries there.

So, why does this awesome kitty need a new home? Her dad is relocating overseas and the situation is such that he cannot take her with him. We (FFOCAS) are helping him safely rehome her.

Interested? Please email ffocas4pets@gmail.com.
