Emmett's Story
Is your cat longing for a feline companion? Have you always wanted a low maintenance cat that will happily keep your cat company but doesn't demand to be the center of attention? Emmett is your cat!

Emmett is a handsome tabby man with striking white accents. He was rescued from an outdoor colony due to wounds on his feet, possibly caused by another animal. His wounds healed, but he is still fearful of humans and requires gentle persistence to gain his trust. He enjoys Churu and will quietly cry to let you know it's mealtime, but he prefers to keep physical contact to a minimum. He is best suited for a calm adults only home, as fast movements and loud noises make him nervous. Emmett enjoys the company of his foster home's resident cats as well as his fellow fosters. Emmett has some sensitivity to certain foods but has done well with a salmon/grain free based food.

Emmett enjoys the finer things in life: lounging on the cat tree, a good meal, a tasty snack or two or three, and good feline company to snuggle and groom.

Emmett is estimated to be about four years old. He is neutered, flea treated, dewormed, microchipped, vaccinated, and tested negative for FIV/FeLV. If you and your cat are looking for a mature companion with sidekick energy, adopt Emmett!
