Emma- foster to adopt, no fee, many perks's Story
Why no adoption fee? Because this cat was my sister's cat, and my sister died last month. This cat is family, and I want her to land in a home that loves her for the rest of her life. Just four years old, she has a lot of life to live!

In addition to no adoption fee, Emima will come to her new home with a cat tree, a large cardboard scratching block, her litter box and litter plus food for the month of her foster time. IF you have the space outside for a catio, I will also provide a new pre-fab catio. (here is an example of the catio I would consider https://a.co/d/010k1BlE )

Emma is a really sweet cat. Once she knows you she is affectionate although not clingy, loves attention but not being picked up – she likes to come to you. When my sister was alive Emma slept with her and frequently was in her lap. But she is a very smart and cautious cat, and when moved to a new situation will need a safe spot to retire to, somewhere up high (some cats prefer to shelter down low she prefers go up high).. She is not a shy or semi-feral Cat, but in her first week or two she will need to develop trust with you

Emma does not seem to care for other cats – I would keep her if she did, but while she is not fighting with my cats, after a month in my home, she will still hiss and growl when she sees them. For this reason she should probably be an only cat; she would probably accept a kitten but not an adult cat. I don't think she would do well with toddlers or rambunctious children -she might adapt over time but I think it would be a longer transition for her. She does however love to play!

If you are interested in considering Emma, please contact Nancy at grassrootsrescuewa@gmail.com.
