Hi! I am Emma, a young gray and white domestic short haired kitten. I have had quite the journey at the shelter. My shelter family has worked to keep me healthy and growing since I have been sick during some of my stay at the shelter. I am doing much better now and hope to be able to go to a family soon. <br/><br/>I am playful and energetic as a kitten should be but I am also sweet, calm and collected. I have soulful eyes deep with years of wisdom. I love to cuddle, to purr and be affectionate. I am a lap kitty and give you little nose kisses. I am the sweetest larger than life personality wrapped up in a small package. <br/><br/>I am spayed, and I am up to date on my vaccines - distemper and rabies. I have been FIV/Feline Leukemia tested and I am negative for both. I receive routine flea and tick preventatives, monthly as well as some well deserved pampering periodically: brushing, nail trims & ear cleaning.<br/><br/>My ideal home includes loving and affectionate people. I don't mind other cats. I like to be by my other kitty friends. I do not know how I would do with dogs. I would do best in a home with kids who understand boundaries. I will most likely become their very best friend. A home with lots of activity may overwhelm me at first but I will most likely adjust in time. I am shy at first and may run away. I am just scared but I do come out of my shell eventually and will show you my larger than life personality. <br/><br/>I need a family that is caring, compassionate and loving. I want a family that is patient, willing to give me what I need: a warm bed, plenty of good food & clean water, and good ol' pets and love. Once I warm up, I enjoy being pet and loved on. I also like to be in front of a window catching warm sun rays.<br/><br/>My shelter family works tirelessly to ensure I and my friends go to the right family.
