Emerald's Story

Meet the Gemstone Crew + Their Shadow Boy
Onyx’s journey began first, found with his mama in a quiet warehouse district. A little unsure at first, he blossomed once Jade, Sapphire, and Emerald —rescued from a drain—were placed with him to help build his confidence. Together, this blended crew has grown into a social, affectionate, playful group who love people, enjoy exploring, and thrive with other cats. Raised around kids and introduced to dogs, they’re ready to bring sparkle and sweetness into their forever homes.

Emerald
A brave sweetheart who wants to be with her humans at all times. Confident, curious, and always first to explore, she thrives with companionship and will need another friendly cat in the home. Great with kids; slow dog intros are best.

Kittens do best adopted in pairs or into homes with a friendly, social resident cat.
To adopt, please fill out an adoption consultation form at

https://desertpawsrescue.org/cat-adoption-consultation-form

Desert Paws Rescue is a privately run, all-volunteer, non-profit organization and reserves the right to refuse any adoption that is not in the best interest of the cat or kitten, based on our principles, policies, and standards. Desert Paws Rescue will determine the best home for each cat or kitten based on the application and interview process. After review of the adoption consultation form and the completion of the interview with a Desert Paws representative, Desert Paws Rescue may recommend a different cat or kitten that is more suitable to your household.
