He was adopted along with his brother from the shelter 3 years ago, and they were getting too rough with each other. Elwood is a bit shy around new people, but once he knows you, he will cuddle on your lap (on his terms). He needs to feel comfortable with you before that happens. He has only ever been around his brother, and he is a little nervous around dogs at first, but he ignores them if they leave him alone. He will likely hide at first, just so he can get used to his surroundings, and he is not fond of rowdy children. Elwood will need a quiet, patient home that will allow him to settle in at his own pace.
