Elvis has been through more than most. When the home he knew burned down, he disappeared for an entire month, given up for lost. But this resilient boy found his way back, and now he's looking for a place where he can finally feel safe again.<br/><br/>At four years old, Elvis is mellow and easy going, he just needs time to show it. In the mornings he'll often emerge for a few quiet pets before retreating to the comfort of his cat tree cubby, his safe spot. Every now and then he'll chase a wand toy and on a really good day he might settle into your lap for a while. -A secret trick to get him to snuggle with you is to show him a churu treat. Elvis is a huge fan of them and will come lay in your lap if you show him one. He gets there on his own terms, and it's worth the wait.<br/><br/>Elvis is paired with Dottie, who also mellow and doesn’t ask for much. Sometime you’ll catch him following her around and if Dottie meows for him, Elvis comes running. Both are shy around new people and environments, and will need a calm, quiet home where they can decompress at their own pace. A household without young children would suit them best.
