Elvira is a mysterious beauty with a soft heart that’s just beginning to shine. When she first arrived, she was shy and uncertain—keeping her distance and quietly observing. But over time, with patience and gentle care, Elvira has started to trust. Now she’s coming up for pets, letting out the tiniest purrs, and showing us just how much love she has to give.<br/><br/>She still appreciates a calm, quiet space and someone who understands that building trust takes time—but she’s worth every moment. Elvira is ready for a forever home where she can continue to bloom.<br/><br/>Our cat adoption fee is $110 and includes their spay/neuter surgery, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations, and preventatives. All God's Creatures Animal Shelter's Adoption Policy

Our adoption process is meant to reduce barriers to adoption. We have a simple questionnaire that does not determine if the adopter is "approved" or "denied" and then we have a conversation about their lifestyle, home environment, and what they are looking for in a pet. Adopters can meet our cats Tuesday through Saturday from 1 pm to 4 pm in our open-concept adoption space! Here, you can sit and spend time with our kitties in a relaxed environment to get to know each personality. While we currently don't have dogs in the building, we do have dogs in foster care. If you're interested in meeting one of them, please contact us to arrange a time with their foster family.
