Elvira's Story

Elvira is the gymnast of the trio: a jumper, climber, and dangling toy acrobat. She loves laser chase, wrestling with her sisters, and curling up next to Lucy for naps. She'll sniff a dog face to face, then lose interest and move on, but she's becoming more confident thanks to Lucy's leadership. Once she warms up, she purrs after good pets and happily joins in the fun. Would love to be adopted with Lucy, but can be separated.<br/><br/>Elvira is spayed, microchipped, FVRCP vaccinated, and has tested negative for FeLV and FIV.<br/><br/>!!! It is the policy of Desert Paws Rescue that all potential cat adopters complete a Cat Adoption Consultation Form and an interview with a Desert Paws representative in order to be considered as a forever home for our cats and kittens. Completion of the application and interview process does not guarantee an adoption approval or guarantee the adoption of a particular cat or kitten. Desert Paws Rescue is a privately run, all-volunteer, non-profit organization and reserves the right to refuse any adoption that is not in the best interest of the cat or kitten, based on our principles, policies, and standards. Desert Paws Rescue will determine the best home for each cat or kitten based on the application and interview process. After review of the adoption consultation form and the completion of the interview with a Desert Paws representative, Desert Paws Rescue may recommend a different cat or kitten that is more suitable to your household.
