Elton & Benny (bonded brothers)

Elton & Benny are a shockingly handsome duo of 7 month old brothers. They are energetic, curious, and loving purrbugs. They are a little shy but warm up quickly and like exploring once they are more comfortable. A quieter home environment would better suit them as they are not accustomed to loud noises. They love to play with wand toys and enjoy bird watching.<br/>They will rumble and tumble with each other and will snuggle afterwards.<br/><br/>Fun fact: Benny has heterochromia (different colored eyes) - which is rare, only 1 in 1000 cats have heterochromia! <br/><br/>Currently in foster care in Beverlywood. We are a handful of volunteers who work normal jobs by day and rescue cats on nights & weekends. We receive countless daily requests from the community for assistance with cats and kittens found outside in need of rescue.<br/><br/>We focus on rescuing friendly cats from the streets, getting them healthy and vetted in foster care, and finding their purrrfect forever home! We prevent hundreds of cats per year from entering our city shelters and being euthanized.<br/><br/>We also TNR (Trap-Neuter-Return) and vaccinate unadoptable/feral street cats, which we believe is the only solution to the root cause of the feline population crisis.<br/><br/>When space allows, we also pull death-row cats from local high kill shelters, work with them in foster care, get them up to date on their healthcare, and match them with their new forever family.<br/><br/>If you'd like to volunteer with us, fostering is a great way to help our cause, and it allows us space to save more kitties off the streets.<br/>If you are unable to foster, we are also always looking for help with transportation to and from vet appointments.<br/>Please send us an email at delgatorescue@gmail.com to be a part of our rescue community.
