Elsie Jo

Meet Elsie Jo, an adorable patch tabby who was rescued from barn life. Elsie went in for a spay and a volunteer noticed that Elsie Jo was a bit older and maybe barn life was no longer the best option for Elsie Jo. It was this wonderful happenstance that allowed Elsie to clear up an untreated ear infection while in her barn home. In foster for a short while to clear up the infection and put a little weight on her tiny frame, Elsie Jo is ready to live inside and be in a forever home.

Elsie Jo may be around eight years old, but she looks a lot younger due to her petite size. Her tail was broken in 2 places and left untreated so she has a couple of bumps but they do not bother her. Elsie Jo is a lover and enjoys being petted and a good lap. Elsie is not a big jumper, so if you are looking for a cuddle kitty who is not interested in clearing anything more than a couch, Elsie Jo is for you!

Elsie Jo would be great for a single adopter, a couple, or a family with older respectful kids. Elsie Jo, while she may have shared barn space with other kitties, would appreciate being your one and only. She would be okay living with another friendly kitty not looking for a friend but would feel oh so special to be a single kitty princess.

Elsie Jo has been spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. Elsie Jo has an approximate birthdate of 09/04/2018. Her adoption fee is $95.

If you are interested in Elsie Jo any of the cats at Second Chance Cats of West Michigan, go to sccatswm.org/adopt to fill out an application, or stop in during open hours on Fridays from 11-2 or Saturdays and Sundays from 11-4.

Please note - we can only adopt to those who live within a one hour drive of Grand Rapids.

Thank you!
