WATCH MY VIDEO...Meet Eloise, a beautiful 4-year-old black cat who is looking for a loving home to call her own once again.<br/><br/> Eloise was surrendered with her feline friend when her family could no longer afford to care for them. Having spent her entire life in a home, she is understandably nervous in the shelter environment and can be startled by the noise and activity around her.<br/><br/> Her previous family describes her as a calm, affectionate cat who loves treats, enjoys sitting in high places, and is quite vocal. She is good with people, children ages 5 and up, and other cats. Eloise has never lived with a dog. While she can be shy at first and prefers that people let her come to them, she loves affection once she feels comfortable. She is also a bit picky with wet food but enjoys chicken and her favorite treats.<br/><br/> Since arriving at the shelter, staff and volunteers have found Eloise to be a very sweet and affectionate cat. She enjoys being held, cuddled, and comforted, and her gentle personality shines through once she feels safe.<br/><br/> Eloise is looking for a patient family who will give her a little time to adjust. In return, she will reward them with love, companionship, and plenty of sweet cuddles.
