***Sharonville Location*** Elmore’s fragile feline feelings are still hurt from being surrendered to a shelter after living in a home for a year and a half. His owner was facing a long distance move and could not bring him along. Now this former only-cat is learning to live in a free range room with some big personalities who intimidate him. He is such a good boy and just wants to find a stable home where he could preferably be an only-pet again. Please consider making an appointment to see if you could possibly be the right match for Elmore! HEARTT Animal Refuge's Adoption Policy

All adoptions are by appointment only. We have two locations, Sharonville and Bridgetown, so please clarify who you would like to meet so we can set up the appointment at the correct location. Our adoption fee for both dogs and cats is $100 per animal. We have a policy to only adopt to individuals age 21 or older. Additionally, we only adopt within a 50 mile radius so that if problems arise, the pet can easily be returned to the shelter. All animals are spayed/neutered and vaccinated prior to adoption. We also give flea and dewormer treatments. Dogs are tested for Heartworm and cats are quarantined for 8 weeks prior to FIV/FeLV testing. Consider a "Senior" pet.....they really need love and a home to call their own in their senior years. We have a few beautiful kittens and many adult cats that are looking for you.
