Meet Elm & Oak (Bonded Pair) - Pending Adoption
Oak and Elm are gentle and sweet 10-month old siblings ready to find their forever home.
When they were wee kittens, these darlings were dumped at a waste/tree burning site and found covered with ash. The shelter that took them in decided to name them after trees, in hopes for healthy, flourishing futures.
They are people-oriented and affectionate. Elm follows her foster mom throughout the house. Even in the kitchen, she sits on a stool and watches her foster mom’s every move. She’s also a star cuddler on Zoom calls! Given the opportunity, she will cuddle for hours. The more confident and bold one of the two, Elm will also eat all of Oak’s treats if given the chance.
Oak also loves people and is affectionate but is just learning to ask for love. He likes to be carried around and see the world from a higher view. His preferred way of getting love is to flop on the floor and splay out for belly rubs. He needs a gentle, understanding home where he feels safe to keep coming out of his shell.
This duo loves to play—glitter balls, feather flyers, catnip toys. They like a good box fort and a pile of crinkly tissue paper. You’ll get used to the adorable sound of the kitty gallop as they chase each other. They are fast runners and would be happiest in a home with a good chasing space and where their people provide interactive toys and play with them regularly.
They use their litter boxes perfectly. They’d do well in many homes, however, they would likely prefer a house on the quiet side.
These guys will quickly win your heart!
