Elm is a sweet baby of chaos in the very best way. She is high energy, deeply people centric, and absolutely full of love. One minute she is tearing through the house chasing springs and crinkle toys, climbing whatever she can find, and getting the zoomies at top speed. The next, she is curled up in your lap with her motorboat purr going strong. Elm loves to play, loves to cuddle, and loves being right in the middle of whatever you are doing.<br/><br/>She is a full on lap kitty and a true shadow cat. If you are home, Elm wants to be with you. She will follow you from room to room, curl up beside you, grab your hand to play, and happily remind you that no toes are fully safe in her presence. She is goofy, affectionate, and endlessly entertaining. She also loves to lick faces, play fetch from time to time, and turn everyday life into something a little more fun.<br/><br/>Elm is extremely playful and food motivated, which makes her an easy girl to charm. Mealtime and snacks are some of her favorite things, and she is always up for action. She loves crinkle toys, springs, climbing curtains and bookshelves, and launching herself around the house like the tiny athlete she believes herself to be. She is also very committed to following her people closely, which means she can occasionally be a bit of a tripping hazard.<br/><br/>Elm would do best in a home that is ready for a busy, funny, loving kitten. She has a ton of energy and would likely enjoy a playful animal friend who can match her enthusiasm. We think she may do well with another playful cat or a dog who enjoys feline company, though she has not directly interacted with dogs yet. She may also do well with older kids who can handle a kitten who sometimes plays a little rough and may accidentally nip or scratch in the excitement of the moment.<br/><br/>Elm came to us back in November with ringworm and made it through quarantine like an absolute trooper. She has been through a lot for such a little girl, and now she is more than ready for the fun part: a home of her own.
