Ellie's Story

Meet Ellie

Ellie is a gentle, sweet-natured girl who is looking for someone willing to let her bloom at her own pace.

Life can feel a little overwhelming for Ellie at first, so she likes to take her time getting comfortable in new environments. Shes a world-class hider and can often be found tucked under a bed or perched on top of the kitchen cabinets, quietly taking everything in. But while she may be shy, she has never shown an ounce of aggression. Shes simply a sensitive soul who likes to feel safe before putting herself out there.

Once Ellie decides youre one of her people, her loving personality starts to shine. She adores treats, enjoys lots of pets, & loves having company nearby. She prefers affection on her terms, but when shes in the mood for attention, shes happy to soak it up.

Ellie is litter-box trained and would do best in a calm home with an adopter who understands that some cats need a little extra time to settle in. In return, youll get the privilege of watching a truly lovely cat discover that shes safe, loved, & home.

If youre looking for a gentle companion and believe the best friendships are worth waiting for, Ellie might be your perfect match.

All cats and kittens adopted through Friends of Felines are spayed, microchipped, and up-to-date on FVRCP vaccinations and rabies shots (if old enough).

See our adoption process below:

1) Fill out the adoption application at https://friendsofelines.org/adopt
2) Meet with the cat in their foster home
3) If you and the cat are a match then we will set a take home date 1-7 days after the meeting depending on schedules.
