Don't let her resting cat face fool you, Ellen is the sweetest, gentlest cat around! <br/><br/>Ellen is a 4-year-old affectionate cat that is looking for her forever home. Ellen came from a hoarding situation and wasn't in the best shape when we got her, but now she is thriving!<br/><br/>Ellen takes a few days to warm up, but patience is rewarded with her! Once she gets to know you, she loves spending time with her humans and is quite the cuddlebug. She'll give you tons of head butts, rub against you, loves kisses on the head, and will even flop onto her side if you find the secret spot on her back (don't worry, her foster will teach you!). She's very vocal and will let out an adorable squeak to communicate with you. Ellen is also so silly and will drool when you scratch her neck or whenever she's really happy - she just loves it so much! She is so sweet, she has never bitten or scratched anyone. At the same time, Ellen is very independent and loves window watching. She loves when her person is around, but shows no separation anxiety. She prefers to play independently with anything that has a feather or her toy track filled with balls. Ellen also has great litter box habits.<br/><br/>Ellen is a pretty low-energy cat. Not very demanding and very independent. She is a bit of a shedder though! Ellen is currently living in a home with 3 little humans and 2 adults as the only cat. She's not a fan of loud noises, so older/respectful children preferred. Since she came from a hoarding situation, Ellen does not enjoy living with other cats. She is looking forward to this next chapter of her life as a solo cat!<br/><br/>Ellen's ideal home would be quiet and calm. She would love a patient owner who gives her time to come out of her shell.
