Ellen's Story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Ellen is a beautiful Lynx Point Siamese, estimated to be around 2-3 years old. Not familiar with this breed mix of cats? You can learn more here: https://www.catster.com/breeds/lynx-point-Siamese/

Ellen is one of many local cats that joined rescue as part of a hoarding case. She will be most comfortable living in a quiet, cat savvy home with other feline companions. Ellen is calm and aloof, yet we find her to be very kind and gentle, she just prefers to watch you from afar! She is not a fan of being picked up and can be slow to warm up to new people, but she gains her confidence from watching her cat friends as they interact with people. Ellen does very well living with other cats and we think she would most enjoy taking her best friend Sparkle with her to her new home as she is happiest when she is curled up in her cat bed with another feline companion! Ellen has not met dogs, but because of her timid nature we think she may prefer to not live with them. Ellen is seeking a home where she can settle in while she gains confidence, she is not a match for someone who moves frequently or has a busy/active home.

Ellen's adoption fee is $100 and includes her spay, microchip, current vaccinations and FeLV/FIV testing. Last Hope requires that all animals be kept as indoor pets only, we look for adopters who have a history of having kept their pets altered and kept current on vaccinations and preventatives. If you would like to meet Ellen, please submit an adoption application for consideration at Adopthope.org
