Ella

Elka (f) - Hemingway's favorite cats were polydactyls. They are rare but very much like any other cat, except they eat with a fork. Ella and her kittens don't really use silverware, but they could. They do have thumbs. Mom and 5 month old kittens are available and ready to go to foster to adopt homes. They had been indoors with a senior lady from the time they were 5 weeks old. They ran under the bed when she came into the room so she could not pick them up and cuddle them. They have been with Sunshine's Friends for just a few weeks and are fun-loving and playful but are not yet fans of being snuggled. With time, love, and patience, they will become amazing companions. Some may even become velcro kitties like several of mine that started out, thinking they did not want to be lap cats.
