Eleanore's Story

Meet Eleanore, a beautiful young mama cat. Eleanore and her babies started in crowded multi-pet environment before being moved to a shelter before being brought into their current foster home through OARS. In her foster, she is discovering the joys of a pampered life, loving every bit of it and thriving.

Eleanore is a sweet gentle soul who adores human affection and will talk to you with soft chirps and purrs. You can often find her watching "Cat TV" out the window, napping in the sun or batting around her favorite jingle-bell balls. She still has a playful side and loves joining in on games with her kittens now that they are a bit older.

She is very flexible and could thrive as an only cat, as an addition to your current home or adopted with her amazing kitten, Bart. She is fine with the resident dog in her foster home and loves the respectful school aged children.

All OARS cats and kittens are spayed or neutered, up to date on rabies and distemper, and have had dewormer medication as a preventive measure. All have tested negative for FIV and feline leukemia. Some kitties may even have a microchip.

HOW TO ADOPT

*Complete an adoption application on our website
http://www.orphananimalrescue.org/adopt

*Contact your veterinarian's office and NON-RELATED personal references to expect a phone call from someone at OARS. This helps us process the application within 2 days.

We focus on providing personalized care for these cats in a loving, home-like environment. Cats live in cozy rooms (cage-free!) where they can play with their favorite toys, watch bird feeder activity, and nap in a favorite sunny spot.
To save as many lives as possible, we partner directly with other rescues and shelters to focus our efforts on overcrowded facilities and kitties who require extra TLC to prepare them for adoption. Because of this, we cannot accept cats directly from the public. Everything we do is fueled by your generosity! As a 100% donation-supported rescue, every dollar goes straight toward food, supplies, and veterinary care for the animals in our hands.

Get involved and be part of the difference for these pets.
Facebook: ORPHAN ANIMAL RESCUE AND SANCTUARY
Website: orphananimalrescue.org
Instagram: @oarsrescue
TikTok: @oarsrescue
