A kind community member looked out for her when she showed up at an outdoor colony, cared for her until she could come to the shelter, and knew she’d make a great companion for the right family.

Since arriving at WAHS, El Gato’s continued to warm up and befriend both people and other cats. We quickly learned that she adores other cats, especially those who share her peaceful, affectionate demeanor. She can take a little time to feel comfortable around new people, but she responds well to introductions in a quiet environment where she feels safe.

El Gato’s ideal home placement is one without a lot of commotion, where she can adjust to her family and new surroundings on her own timeline.
