Egypt's Story
Egypt is a beautiful tortie who has overcome so much and is now ready to find her forever home. Rescued as a sick stray, she bravely survived a serious uterine infection (pyometra) thanks to emergency surgery and lots of love. Now safe and healthy, she knows just how good indoor life can be!

While she’s a tiny bit reserved at first, Egypt absolutely ADORES gentle head scratches and pets — she’ll purr up a storm and even bury her head into your hand or lift herself up to get the pets sooner, soaking up every bit of attention. She has recently become a lap cat and when not on her foster’s lap she is beside her on the couch making sure that her body is touching her foster. Mealtime and treat time is her favorite part of the day; she happily chirps with excitement when she knows her food is coming! She’s a low-energy girl who is perfectly content to spend most of her time lounging by the window and quietly watching the critters outside. Egypt enjoys the company of other cats and has been caught exchanging head bumps and licks with her feline roommates. She also knows how to hold her own when the overzealous foster cats go just a bit too far!! It may take a few days to establish trust in her new home but once she has she will let her playful side show, enjoying rod-and-string toys. She is very excited to get out of her foster room trying to follow her foster out the door and can’t wait for a home of her own to explore! Small but mighty, sweet but strong, Egypt is looking for a calm, loving home where she can continue to blossom and have the love she deserves.

DOB March 2023

Spayed, vaccinated, deflead, dewormed, microchipped

Adoption fee 250$
