Edwin's Story
Hi, I’m Edwin.

I’m a handsome charcoal gray and white boy. My gray is so dark, it almost looks black. But behind this handsome face is a boy who has been through more than he ever should have.

I was found outside, struggling to survive, and somehow I got caught in a fence. My leg was so badly mangled that it had to be removed. I’m a tripod now, but don’t let that fool you... I get around wonderfully! I run, play, cuddle and do all the normal cat things. Having three legs hasn’t slowed me down one bit.

When I first arrived at Furball Farm, I was very afraid of people. I wasn’t sure what they wanted from me, and I wasn’t ready to trust. But the wonderful people here were patient. They learned that treats are the way to my heart, and little by little, those big walls I had built started coming down.

I’m still a meek and shy boy, and I’ll need a family who understands that I may need some time. Approach me slowly, give me a little patience (and maybe a treat or two), and you’ll discover what a sweet boy I really am.

I LOVE other cats. I’m almost always in the middle of a giant cuddle puddle... snuggling with my friends or playing with them. I’d really love a home with another kitty or two. I also adore cozy, cuddly blankets.

And if there’s one thing you can count on, it’s that I’ll be there for 2 PM treat time! I also know exactly what it means when I hear those treat dispensers go off.

I recently had a dental, so my teeth are all clean and ready for lots of treats!

I may have started life scared and alone, but I’m learning that people can be kind. Maybe you could be the person who shows me just how good life can be.

Come meet me daily from 1–5 PM at Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary. I might be shy when you first meet me, but please give me a chance. There’s a sweet little buddy hiding behind these cautious eyes, and I’m waiting for someone patient enough to find him.

My new perfect family NEEDS to understand that it WILL take me a while to adjust at first and I WILL hide as I settle in. Give me time, patience, and use food as a tool to get me out of my shell — I really am a wonderful cat.

I am fully vetted: neutered, microchipped, FIV & FeLV negative, treated for fleas/ticks/and intestinal parasites, and up-to-date on all my vaccinations: distemper, rabies, and FeLV. I require an indoor-only home and, as with all cats — absolutely no declawing.

If you are interested in adopting Edwin, please come visit... we are open daily from 1-5pm (including holidays)... we need to meet you in person! If you have any questions, feel free to email us at info@furballcats.com or message us on Facebook: Furball Farm Cat Sanctuary.
