Edna's Story
Meet Edna – A Grumpy Old Lady with a Heart Worth Winning!

Edna is a 10-year-old lady who has been through more than any cat should have to endure. She was taken into animal control's care from an abusive situation, and now she's hoping to find a quiet, loving home where she can finally enjoy the peaceful life she deserves.

Edna is what you might call a grumpy old girl! She's not particularly interested in making feline friends and would much rather have other cats give her some personal space. She may be happiest as your one and only kitty, where she can relax without having to share her space with other feline roommates.

Edna is FIV-positive, but that doesn't mean she can't enjoy a happy life! She also had to have all her teeth removed because of dental issues. Don't worry, though — cats can adapt very well to life without teeth, and Edna can still enjoy plenty of love and affection.

While she might have a grumpy reputation, there's a softer side to this girl! Edna is happy to receive gentle pets, and we think there's a good chance she could blossom into a loving lap cat once she feels safe and settled in her own home. She just needs someone who understands that love sometimes means giving a cat the time and space to come around at her own pace.

At 10 years old, Edna isn't looking for a busy household full of excitement. She's looking for a soft bed, a peaceful home, gentle affection, and a person who appreciates a senior cat with a little cattitude!

Could you be the one to give Edna her happily-ever-after? She deserves to spend her golden years feeling safe, loved, and cherished. If you have a quiet home and a soft spot for grumpy senior kitties, Edna might just be your girl!

Please note: You must live within a 175-mile radius of our facility to be considered for adoption.

To fill out an online application to adopt this pet, cut and paste this link: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/2627/generic

You can also find a link to our online adoption application on our website at www.hartforanimals.org/adopt or on our Petfinder homepage.
