Edna's Story

Edna is a very sweet girl, but she loves her alone time as well. She is the definition of a sour patch kid: first she's sour, but then sweet! She has a very soft beautifully colored coat, that you'll love petting. She would thrive best in a single to no-cat household. Due to her crossed eyes, she doesn't read body language very well around smaller children. Edna is already spayed, vaccinated, and fully vetted — ready to go home. If you are interested in meeting this little cutie, click on the ‘Start your Inquiry’ button to fill out an Adoption Inquiry Form or visit our website and fill out an application at www.lonestarpawz.com

Our goal is to ensure every animal is placed in the best possible home. Our adoption process helps us make thoughtful matches between our pets and their future families. Complete an adoption application. Application review by our team. Compatibility check to ensure the pet is a great fit for your home, lifestyle, and any current animals. Background verification of the information provided in the application. Conversation with the adopter (phone or verbal communication) so we can get to know each other better and answer any questions. Adoption decision based on what is best for the pet. Adoption contract sent to approved adopters. Veterinary care scheduled if the pet still needs vaccines, spay/neuter, or other medical care. Transport arrangements made if the adopter is located outside our immediate area. Adoption day! Your new family member heads off to their loving forever home.
