Edith & Lillian (Bonded Pair)'s Story

Meet Edith & Lillian!

Bonded Sisters | 7 months | UTD Vaccines | Dewormed | Spayed | Microchipped | FeLV Positive | FIV Negative

Edith and Lillian are a bonded sister duo looking for a loving home where they can stay together forever.

These fluffy panther sisters are absolute delights. They are very sweet, affectionate, and love people. They enjoy being around their humans and soaking up attention. They’re also very playful and love to show off their adorable zoomies, racing around the room with joyful energy and gorgeous, fluffy tails flying behind them like plumes. Those tails are truly something special!

These beautiful girls came into our care last September from a local colony and have truly blossomed into affectionate, playful companions.

When they arrived, both kittens were battling severe upper respiratory infections that resulted in ruptured eyes. They’ve since recovered wonderfully, though each has some permanent scarring on one eye—giving them a uniquely endearing look that only adds to their charm.

Both Edith and Lillian have tested positive for Feline Leukemia (FeLV), however, they are in a regressive status rather than progressive. What this means for them is that their bodies have had a successful immune response that limits replication of the virus. The hope is that long term they will continue to live in this regressive status. We’re optimistic that they’ll live long, happy & relatively normal lives especially as they are currently managing the virus very well. They will need to be the only cats in the home or live with other FeLV positive cats.

These girls share a strong bond and bring comfort and confidence to one another, so they must be adopted together.

If you’re looking for a pair of loving, playful, and resilient kittens to add joy (and zoomies!) to your life, Edith and Lillian may be the perfect match.

Edith and Lillian have not yet been exposed to dogs or children, but based on their gentle, social nature, they would likely do well with proper and slow introductions.

Interested in Adopting?

Scroll down and click "Visit Our Profile Page" our application is under our Adoption Policies Section. Inked Kitten Club's Adoption Policy
Thank you for your interest in adopting an Inked Kitten. Please complete our adoption application in full. We do not evaluate inquiries. As a foster based organization, we require a fully completed application in order to set up kitten meet and greets. We do not adopt on a first-come, first-served basis. Our priority is finding the best match for each cat or kitten. Because kittens tend to adjust better with a buddy, applicants interested in adopting a pair are generally given higher priority to help prevent Single Kitten Syndrome (SKS). What is Single Kitten Syndrome? Single Kitten Syndrome occurs when young kittens are adopted alone. Without a feline playmate, they may develop behavioral issues such as: Aggression or anxiety | Inappropriate chewing or scratching | Litter box avoidance | Difficulty adjusting to new pets or children later in life. While not all single kittens experience these challenges, it’s a common reason cats are rehomed late. The best way to prevent SKS is to adopt kittens in pairs or ensure there’s already a playful, compatible cat in the home.
