Edith's Story
The Roosevelt kittens got their start in the most unexpected—but safest—place possible: a dining room! Their mama, Ellie, had been a new face in an outdoor cat colony when she decided she was ready for indoor living. She marched right through the door of the kind colony caretaker and made herself at home—literally.

Shortly after moving in, Ellie gave birth to her litter in the comfort and safety of that home. With love, socialization, and a healthy dose of kitten mischief, the Roosevelt kittens grew up strong, sweet, and social.

Edith is the quiet queen of the Roosevelt trio. She’s a soft tortie girl with a shy, thoughtful personality—often observing her brothers’ chaos from the sidelines before deciding if she wants to join in. While Teddy and Franklin bounce off the walls, Edith prefers cozy corners, soft pets, and slow introductions.

She’s still coming out of her shell, but with a little patience and a lot of love, Edith is sure to blossom. We suspect having two wild brothers has made it tough to get a word (or meow) in, but Edith has a gentle soul and a lot of love to give to the right person.

She’d do well in a calmer home, possibly with a gentle feline friend or even adopted with one of her brothers—if they promise to tone it down just a smidge.

If you'd like to meet me, stop by Jefferson Feed (corner of Jefferson Hwy. and Central Ave.).

Adoption Fee is $100/each or $150/pair. We like our kittens to have friends so we want a pair adoption if you have no other pets unless we know a specific kitten prefers to be alone. All kittens are Spayed/Neutered, up-to-date on age appropriate vaccines, FeLV/FIV tested and microchipped.

DOWNLOAD our Adoption Application here (You must click the download button): https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/ahiajf6e6i0ox2hdl09jk/JSPCA-Application_2.0-Newest-Updates.pdf?rlkey=be9he1julh02etikl021k9plk&dl=0

All adoptions subject to approval.
